This book takes a deep look into the heart of Christ based on Matthew 11:28-30. It helps us to know the inclinations of his heart towards us sinners and sufferers. It illuminates us to the wonder of God which, in Christ, is for us. It reveals the heart of Jesus not as a state or for a specific moment in time but through all eternity. This book teaches but ultimately soothes. I think this book is what we all need in this season and moment in history. I've never read a book quite like it and wish all christians would read. Especially those in Life Church!
