Life Church Students
Know God. Express the heart of God. Become disciples of Jesus.
Our vision is to see a generation of students who know the heart of God for themselves, become faithful, missional disciples of Jesus, and express his love, joy and peace in their universities, communities, and across Edinburgh.
We gather every Wednesday to build friendships, open the Bible, pray and encourage one another in following Jesus. We also have socials, lunches and other opportunities to connect with the wider life of Life Church.
Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years, are exploring faith, or are simply looking for a church community while you’re in Edinburgh, there is a place for you here.
Life Church Students meet every Wednesday.

What happens when someone joins Life Students?
Students will know His heart, grow as disciples, and live out their faith.
Know His Heart. University can be an exciting season, but it can also be easy to feel disconnected or unsure of where you belong. We want Life Church Students to be a place where genuine friendships are built and where students can know the heart of God for themselves through community, prayer and life together.
Grow as Disciples. The university years shape so much of who we become and how we see the world. We want to help students become faithful, missional disciples of Jesus through Scripture, prayer, worship and intentional community, growing in faith and learning what it looks like to follow Jesus in every part of life.
Live It Out. Following Jesus doesn’t stop with us. We want to see students express the heart of God by bringing his love, joy and peace into their friendships, universities, workplaces and communities across Edinburgh by living out their faith wherever God places them.
What to expect
Come as you are!
All university-age young adults are welcome at Life Church Students. We meet on Wednesday evenings at Life Church for dinner, time together, prayer and conversation around Sunday’s message. At different points throughout the year, we might also work through a Bible study or read a book together.
Throughout the term, there are plenty of socials and opportunities to build genuine friendships too.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. This is a welcoming place to ask questions, be yourself, grow in faith and learn what it looks like to follow Jesus in everyday life.
