The Living Room is a welcoming community space where little ones, parents, and people of every generation can build relationships, share life and experiences, and find a place to belong. Open to everyone in the community.

So much of life happens in spaces divided by age. The Living Room is about creating something different: a place where generations can get to know one another, share life and build genuine community.

For little ones, it means growing up surrounded by people who know their name.

For parents and carers, it's a chance to meet others, slow down and find community.

And for adults of every generation, it's a place to connect, share, contribute and belong.

Life is better when generations come together.

What happens at The Living Room?

A relaxed, friendly space with something for everyone.

Refreshments

Come in, grab a cup of coffee or tea, snacks for both adults and little ones, and make yourself at home.

Conversation

A space to slow down, share stories, enjoy meaningful conversation and build genuine connections.

Play

Room for little ones to play, explore, and enjoy time alongside others.

Activities

Shared activities, occasional guest speakers, and simple opportunities to learn, make, and do things together.

The Living Room is designed to bring together families with babies and toddlers and people from other generations in our community — but you don’t need to come with a child to belong here.

Come as a parent, carer, grandparent, neighbour, or even a grandparent figure. Whether you’re a grandparent yourself or simply someone who enjoys being around younger generations, sharing your stories and life experience, and offering warmth and encouragement, there’s a place for you here.

And if you’re simply someone who would enjoy good company, meaningful conversation, and a cup of coffee or tea, you’re very welcome too.

You don't need to attend Life Church or have a faith background. Everyone is welcome.
